The Battery Production Department addresses the production technology of batteries of all technologies, with a current focus on lithium-ion technology. Our member companies supply machines, plants, components, tools and services along the entire process chain of battery production: from raw material preparation to electrode production and cell assembly to module and pack production.
The specialist department is the contact for all questions relating to battery machinery and plant engineering. We research technology and market information, organise customer events and roadshows, offer platforms for exchange within the industry and are in dialogue with research and science.
In this meeting, the preparation of the OPC UA Companion Specification (CS) document will be discussed. The aim is to review the current status, agree the next steps for finalizing the document and set the date for the next meeting.
In January 2026, the battery association KLiB e. V. organized the Battery Forum Germany for the 14th time with the support of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR).
