VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics represents the interests of German and European manufacturers from the areas of industrial trucks, cranes, Intralogistic systems, mobile robots and continuous conveyors.

With currently 290 member companies, we are the most important intralogistics trade association in Europe and an important link to "Industrie 4.0". We support our members in all matters so that they can enable material flow, warehousing and production supply to their customers worldwide. As the industry's meeting place, we bundle essential information and represent the technical, specialist and economic policy interests of our member companies.

The IFL is an association of companies and research institutions that focuses on practical research in intralogistics and materials handling technology. Its aims are to strengthen the leading position of the German intralogistics industry and to develop innovative solutions for material flow, warehouse technology and logistics systems. The next meeting of the IFL's Scientific Advisory Board, which will be attended by IFL members and representatives of institutes, will take place in Hamburg on February 4, 2026.

Around 80 manufacturers of continuous conveyors for both bulk goods and unit loads are organized together in the Continuous Conveyor Division. The annual members' meeting serves to exchange ideas and information through relevant specialist presentations.
