As a result of a national legislative initiative, the "Elektrogesetz 3" will come into force on 01.01.2022. This means that manufacturers of "B2B electrical equipment" will have more obligations than they had before.
While the contents of "RoHS 3" are being discussed in the EU, countries outside the EU are introducing their first RoHS-like regulation. RoHS" stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances and refers to the Directive on the Restriction of Certain Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products, which has been in force in the EU since 2003.
