Dr. Johannes Gernandt: Order intake December and full year 2025

The machinery and equipment manufacturing industry in Germany ended 2025 with order books at the previous year's level; overall, this resulted in zero real growth in orders compared with the previous year. This result was driven by a 7 per cent increase in orders from eurozone partner countries. By contrast, orders from Germany (down 1 per cent) and from non-euro countries (down 2 per cent) declined in 2025 as a whole.
