Increasing complexity, growing diversity of variants, and high cost and time pressures are shaping the machinery and plant engineering sector. Transparent, robust processes are a key success factor in this context. This is precisely where Process Mining comes in: it creates data-driven transparency about actual process flows and enables the identification of well-founded optimisation potential – beyond assumptions and isolated analyses.
Using a practical example from the machinery and plant engineering industry (approx. 900 employees, €150 million turnover), we will demonstrate how Process Mining makes business processes fully visible – from order processing through to production. It becomes clear why traditional analyses often only reveal symptoms, whereas Process Mining uncovers the real causes of inefficiencies and provides concrete starting points for process improvement.
Target Audience:
The QM-Corner is aimed at specialists and managers in the field of quality management.
Moderation: Kevin Löpke
Registration deadline: 04.02.2025
If you are unable to attend despite registering, please let us know briefly.
To ensure an efficient dialogue, the number of participants is limited. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
Organizer
The event is offered by ProduktionNRW. ProduktionNRW is the cluster for mechanical engineering and production technology in North Rhine-Westphalia and is managed by VDMA NRW. ProduktionNRW sees itself as a platform for networking, informing, and promoting companies, institutions, and networks among themselves and along the value chain. Essential parts of the services provided by ProduktionNRW are funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
