the Ecodesign Regulation stipulates that the vast majority of products placed on the market in the EU must have a Digital Product Passport (DPP) in the near future. This will contain information on the environmental sustainability of products, including repairs, spare parts, carbon footprint, recycling information, etc. and will enable conscious consumer decisions.
