Building Information Modeling - BIM Building automation and electrical engineering
The BIM working group deals with Building Information Modeling, the basis for digital transformation in the construction industry. The main task of the working group is to better install the entire building technology, including electrical engineering and building automation, in the BIM process and to consolidate knowledge on the subject of BIM in the industry.

By participating in the standardization process at VDI, DIN, CEN, ISO and bs, standardized requirements for the technical models of building services equipment are to be introduced from the perspective of building services engineering and their use in OPEN BIM models is to be supported. Another objective is to avoid duplication of work by different interest groups.
