The Technology Monitoring Packaging Machinery Working Group in the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association is a network of experts from various VDMA member companies in the packaging machinery industry. Here, there is an intensive exchange of information and experience on national, European and international regulations, guidelines and standards. The main aim is to identify new trends in apparatus, plant and mechanical engineering with regard to technology, materials and manufacturing processes and to deal with new regulations and changes for manufacturers at an early stage.

Further objectives are the development of position papers, commentaries and assistance for manufacturers, the conception of information events with suggestions for suitable speakers, public relations work, e.g. in the form of specialist lectures, an exchange of experience in dealing with supervisory authorities and the provision of research results on important topics.

We promote the exchange of knowledge and experience both in face-to-face events and in web meetings. The members meet twice a year.
