Product development is under increasing pressure these days: shorter development cycles due to cost and time constraints, rising quality and safety requirements, and changing rules for acceptance criteria. Against this backdrop, more and more companies are turning to simulation-based development processes – in particular FEM (finite element method) and CFD simulation (computational fluid dynamics/flow simulation).
This web seminar aims to show how simulation-based projects work, what specific advantages they offer, and why it can be worthwhile to purchase simulation services externally. Using practical examples, ITB GmbH will demonstrate how companies can shorten their development times, reduce production costs, and at the same time ensure compliance with new standards through the targeted use of simulations.
Registration deadline: November 17, 2025
Moderators: Martin Strauch
Participation in the event is free of charge.
Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. Registered participants will receive confirmation of participation and the MS Teams link to participate in good time before the event. If you are unable to attend despite registering, please send us a short message.
Organizer
The event is offered by ProduktionNRW. ProduktionNRW is the cluster for mechanical engineering and production technology in North Rhine-Westphalia and is run by VDMA NRW. ProduktionNRW sees itself as a platform for networking, informing, and marketing companies, institutions, and networks with each other and along the value chain. A significant portion of the services provided by ProduktionNRW are funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection, and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
