About the Official German Pavilion
VDMA regularly applies for Official German Pavilions at IFAT India in coordination with other water associations. For 2025 the inclusion was initiated by the German Water Partnership (GWP), DWA e.V. and the VDMA Forum Process Technology.
At the 2024 edition in Mumbai, 24 exhibitors presented themselves in the German Pavilion. In addition to the German Pavilion, there were also participations from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Canada, South Korea and Norway.
Applications for German participation with your own booth or in the information centre are accepted via the AUMA portal. Please note that you must register in advance. For more detailed information on the process, please also refer to the factsheet available for download below in German and English. The deadline for registration is July 18th, 2025. expotec GmbH has been appointed as the implementation company. About the fair
IFAT India is the trade fair for environmental technologies and sustainable solutions in India.It brings together professionals from the water, wastewater, waste and recycling sectors, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, business networking and collaboration between industry players, policy makers and environmental experts. The trade fair also includes its own conference programme.
Since the pandemic, the annual IFAT India has seen an annual increase in the number of visitors and exhibitors. In 2023, there were a total of 296 exhibitors and 14,100 visitors at the exhibition centre. This increased in 2024, when 488 exhibitors and 17,184 visitors attended.
