The IBPC seminar offers you the latest insights into battery cell production 4.0 - sustainability through automated and circular production.
The International Battery Production Conference 2025 (IBPC 2025) is a central platform for experts from science and industry to discuss the future of battery production. The focus is on innovative production methods, automation, digitalisation, sustainability, recycling, and solid-state and sodium-ion batteries as alternatives to lithium-ion technologies.
The eighth IBPC will take place on 5–6 November 2025 at the Steigenberger Parkhotel Braunschweig, organised by the Battery LabFactory at the Technical University of Braunschweig. Around 300 participants can expect keynotes, approximately 60 presentations, 80 posters and insights into current developments in circular battery cell production, from intelligent electrode manufacturing and dry coating to battery safety, circular economy and factory design.
On 7 November, a basic and an expert seminar will explore topics such as sustainability, solid-state batteries and digitalisation in greater depth. The quality of the entire conference is guaranteed by an international scientific committee and cooperation with Fraunhofer IST and VDMA Battery Production. An industry exhibition and several industry sessions round off the programme.
