The working group Public Affairs of the VDMA Sanitary Technology and Design works on the political interests of the sanitary industry. From background research of individual regulations, strategy setting for political projects to the implementation of political appointments and events, the working group analyses and influences the political sphere of the sanitary industry. The working group achieved successes in the creation of the EU's water resilience strategy or lobbies for national laws such as the Building Energy Act. The working group meets at most once a year at VDMA and otherwise works digitally. Representatives of VDMA Sanitary Engineering and Design companies can participate.
